Loop Runner — Privacy Policy
- Who we are. Loop Runner is developed by Court Les Rues LLC (“we”, “us”). Contact: contact@courtlesrues.com.
- Summary. Loop Runner does not operate user accounts, does not run its own user-data servers, and does not include in-app analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs. However, Loop Runner uses Meta Horizon Platform Services (specifically, leaderboards). As part of those platform features, the app receives and processes limited Meta account identifiers needed to display leaderboard entries.
-
Data we receive/process via Meta Platform Services (Leaderboards).
When you use Loop Runner’s global leaderboard, Meta’s platform services may provide the app with:
- User ID (a unique Meta platform identifier; sometimes referred to as
USER_ID) - User profile fields used for display, such as a profile name/handle (for example, Oculus ID / display name) depending on your privacy settings (sometimes referred to as
USER_PROFILE) - Leaderboard data such as score, rank, and associated entry metadata returned by Meta’s leaderboard services
- User ID (a unique Meta platform identifier; sometimes referred to as
-
How we use this data.
We use the above data only to:
- Display the global leaderboard (names/anonymous labels, ranks, and scores)
- Show your own score and rank within the leaderboard (for example “Your Best”)
-
What we store and where.
- On our servers: We do not store your Meta User ID, profile information, or leaderboard data on our own servers because we do not operate user-data servers for Loop Runner.
- In the app: Any Meta user/profile information used for leaderboard display is processed in-memory and/or cached temporarily by the app or platform SDK as needed to render the UI.
- By Meta: The global leaderboard is hosted and processed by Meta as part of Meta Horizon Platform Services, under Meta’s policies.
- Local game data. Loop Runner may store gameplay data locally on your device (for example, settings and local progress). We do not have access to your device storage.
- Data sharing. We do not sell your data. We do not share Meta user identifiers/profile fields with third parties. Meta provides platform services (including leaderboards) and may process platform and device data under their own policies.
- Data retention. We retain no user data on our own servers. Any local device data remains on your device unless you uninstall the app or clear the app’s data. Leaderboard entries are retained by Meta’s leaderboard services until deleted (see below).
-
Deletion requests.
If you would like your Loop Runner leaderboard entry removed, email us at
contact@courtlesrues.com with your Meta User ID (and, if possible, your approximate score/rank/timeframe).
Upon request, we will take reasonable steps to:
- Remove your leaderboard entry from the Loop Runner leaderboard using available developer tools, where technically feasible
- Delete any app-side cached leaderboard/user display data, if the app stores any locally on your device (if applicable)
- Your rights and controls. You can manage Meta account privacy settings (including profile name visibility) through your Meta account and device settings. Because we do not store your Meta user data on our own servers, we generally cannot provide exports of Meta platform data; however, you can request leaderboard-entry deletion as described above.
- Children. Loop Runner is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us.
- Changes. If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the effective date.
- Contact. Questions? Email contact@courtlesrues.com.
For clarity: Loop Runner does not include in-app analytics or advertising SDKs and does not store Meta user identifiers on its own servers. The global leaderboard uses Meta Horizon Platform Services; the app receives limited account identifiers needed to display leaderboard entries.
